1Beautifully Designed Web App Interfaces
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012
Designing a web application can be significantly harder than just designing a regular web site. Web apps introduce extra complexity – there are actions (such as “Create a new status message” or “Follow new users”) and these actions need to be integrated into the app in a way that’s immediately obvious and intuitive to users. Great web apps don’t have a big learning curve – and the best apps don’t take any time to learn at all. The only way to achieve that, is to have a beautifully simple, elegant and instantly intuitive user interface. We’ve brought together a collection of web apps that do just that – each web app has an extremely thoughtful, clever and fantastically designed UI, and are easy and simple to use. We hope you find the collection useful for when you’re next designing a browser based user interface.

My Experience with Hosting
In the last 10 years I’ve tried & tested tons of of WordPress hosting companies and there’s one thing I’ve learned: there is no such thing as the perfect host. Every time a host started having problems, I moved providers hoping the next one will be the magic solution. That process repeated until I accepted that there’s no such thing as a cheap WordPress host with 100% uptime without any problems. However, I did learn which companies I could rely on to give me solid service, depending on what I was looking for.
